He has been employed in the capacity of a practiced seafarer, on the strength of his previous marine experience in the offshore oil industry. Full supporting documentation has been supplied and will accompany and support any applications made with this testimonial. In pursuance of his duties Mr Gregory has taken command of various Harbours coded vessel both within the ports and territorial waters of the island. He holds a locally issued Boat Master¡¯s Licence issued under Regulation 6 of the Harbours (Inshore Safety) (Jersey) 2102 in that he has demonstrated to the Harbour Master his knowledge and experience of operating coded vessels in local waters. He also is the holder of a RYA / MCA commercially endorsed Advance Power Boat Certificate. Mr Gregory also holds a (MCA) Chief Engineer Certificate of Competence Tugs ¨C Reg III/2 (tugs of less than 6,000kW, limited to 30 miles from a safe haven) My report on the above during this service period is stated as follows: Conduct: Mr Gregory has proved a competent and experienced member of the Marine Section team.
