THE DAY OF THE BIG EVENT On April 16, 2011 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. an estimated 1,000 UT Arlington students, faculty, staff, and community members will unite in an effort to make a difference in our surrounding communities at approximately 65-70 project sites. After volunteering, participants are welcome to attend The Big Event Thank You Celebration in the UC Mall from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. for a free meal, music, activities, and guest speakers. ABOUT THE BIG EVENT The event is a decade old tradition that has been coordinated by UTA Volunteers since 2005.
