Coding Specialist) and the CMAA (Certified Medical
Administrative Assistant), the American Academy of
Professional Coders (AAPC) awarding the CPC (Certified
Professional Coder), and through the American Health
Information Management Association (AHIMA) awarding the
CCA.
7. Medical Assistant (Diploma)

The Medical Assistant program combines the Clinical Assistant, Medical
Administrative Specialist, and Medical Coding curriculum. At the completion of
those three classes, the student will complete a 200 hour externship.
Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the
following certifications by examination: CCMA (NHA), CMAA (NHA), CPT
