The power of the platform is that the reinforcement is not only automated, consistent and frequent but, most importantly, relevant across your student groups. Relevancy is achieved across a large culturally diverse non-traditional student group by using a myriad of automated recognition strategies which I will lay out for you today.��Strong evidence suggests that students do respond to such incentives. ����While incentive programs which offer rewards based on global performance are effective in promoting student achievement, reinforcement programs also impact behavior. Rooted in classic behaviorist learning theory, reinforcement programs provide a reinforcer immediately following the desired response or behavior, leading to increased frequency of such behavior.
