Hanif Khan is a Pakistani hockey player who was born in Karachi in 1959. He fell in love with hockey at age 12 and practiced with his father, who was a hockey coach. Khan joined the Pakistani national hockey team in 1976 after moving to Islamabad for training. He had a successful international career, winning gold at the 1984 Summer Olympics, and retired in 2014 due to his advancing age. After retiring, he returned to Karachi and became a hockey coach.

Karachi. And he became a hockey coach.
