- 3. VAC (Vacuum assisted closure) Therapeutic technique using vacuum dressing to promote healing in acute or chronic wound through a special sealed dressing
- 4. Indication of VAC Indicated for almost any open wound where surgical closure is not feasible Full thickness pressure ulcer Diabetic/neuropathic ulcer Venous leg ulcer Burn wounds Traumatic wounds
- 5. Contraindication of VAC Necrotic tissue Unexplored fistula Malignant wound Exposed vasculature Exposed anastomosis Exposed nerves and organ

- 7. Medihoney Gel Wound & Burn Dressing contains 100% active Leptospermum honey in a hydrocolloidal suspension. Supports the removal of necrotic tissue and aids in wound healing.

Indication 1. dry to moderately exuding wounds 2. diabetic foot ulcers 3. leg ulcers (venous insufficiency ulcers, arterial ulcers and leg ulcers of mixed etiology) 4. pressure ulcers (partial- and full-thickness) 5. first- and second-degree partial-thickness burns 6. donor sites and traumatic or surgical wounds.
- 9. Contraindication 1. allergy to honey 2. On third-degree burns 3. To control heavy bleeding. Special Precaution - Transient stinging sensation in some patients mainly in wounds with severe inflammatory process.
- 10. Solcoceryl Contents : Protein-free haemodialysate. Suitable for treating minor and poorly healing wounds and ulcers of the skin.
- 11. Indication minor injuries (bruises, scratches, cuts) burns 1 and 2 degrees (sunburn, thermal burns) Frostbite difficult healing wounds (including trophic ulcers and bed sores).
