Web 2.0 Review
- 1. The WEB 2.0 Application I decided to review was the Spartans vs Hipsters application. This game allowed you to create a spartan and take on hipsters and you can play with other people online. It does not take much skill to use it has basic keyboard controls and anyone who has internet connection on a computer can play the game. The game promotes collaboration by how it requires you to work with other spartan players and take down hipsters, and there certainly is a real time aspect to it since the people you play with are actual people somewhere in the world playing. This can be used in a classroom to maybe show the importance of teamwork. Taking on the hipsters would have probably been a lot harder for me in the game if I did not have someone else playing me. Use teamwork to do something fun like playing this game will keep the students interested.
