Have had Lambs Ear for a
4-5 years.
Wild Ginger patch does
pretty wellall of it
went in last fall except
the new plants Saturday.
The ceramic object is a
toad house
Current state of Dwarf
Crested Iris. They went
in the ground in Fall and
look healthy to me.
Partridge Berry came
back fine this spring.
There were 2 flowers.
Current state of Stokes
Aster. Original plants
were installed fall of 11
and they are spreading.
Deerberry that was
installed in October.
Growing slowly this year.
The new Obedient Plant
and to its left two of the
new Stokes Asters.
The new Beard Tongue
and its friend, planted
earlier this spring.
Current state of
Helianthus. I
transplanted these in
March 12 to get them in
the sun. They are very
happy plants.
Current state of Maple
Leaf Viburnum added in
Fall 12.
Fred, the Beautyberry.
Given as a gift in spring
12 and is really growing
briskly this year.
Part of the sun garden as
it now looks. Several
Bee Balms added in fall
are to left of Cardinal.
To its right are two
Butterfly Weeds: last
years plant has
propagated.
Current state of Cross Vine. I moved it to a
better location in fall. It died back in
February but started up again. Growing very
slowly.
Current state of Green
and Purple Headed
Coneflowers,. Green and
Gold, new Stokes Aster.
This site gets a lot of sun.
Current state of
Crossvine (left side) and
Coral Honeysuckle (right)
and garden art. Both
were transplanted in
September to get more
sun. Honeysuckle grew
at a moderate clip.
Current state of Jack in
the Pulpit. Neither the
older (2 yr) nor newer
plant has had enough
energy to flower.
Milkweed added last
summer did really well
now two plants
flowering.
The Spiderwort about a
month ago. All seven
plants flowered this
spring.
Toothwort flowered in
April. Two year old
planting.
Phlox and Columbine
patch at peak in March
and April. The
Columbine went in the
ground 2011 and the
Phlox last year.
Backyard Phlox at its
peak late March or early
April. Put those in late
spring 2012, I think.
