- 10. After several years he attended King Edward VI Grammar School in Stratford-upon-Avon from the age of 7 and left school and formal education when he was 14.

- 13. WIFE William Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway in November 1582 and they remained married until Shakespeare's death. At the time of their marriage William was 18, while Anne was 26 and pregnant with their first child.

- 20. Shakespeare began his career as an actor on stage by 1592. By 1594 he was an actor in The Chamberlain's Men acting company. He was Playwright for 20 years and wrote plays that capture the complete range of human emotion and conflict.
