This document discusses adverbs of manner, which are used to describe how an action is performed. Examples are provided such as "He dances badly" and "She sings beautifully" to illustrate how adverbs of manner modify verbs to provide additional details about the way an action is carried out. Students are instructed to ask and answer questions in class using adverbs of manner by asking how various actions are performed, such as how someone drives, eats, sings, dances, or walks.
