It started in 1999 when, as a 鈥渨eb design and development鈥� company, Abstract Edge got a call from a woman who wanted to fight for common sense gun laws. With only a small budget, little organizational support, and no social media to leverage, we had to make up the rules of online grassroots marketing in real time.
9 months later, an amazing thing happened. With the help of a lot of amazing volunteers, we motivated 850,000 people to march in the Million Mom March.
