I am an education consultant who works with teachers across the nation and internationally. Prior to consulting, I taught English, served as the Colorado's literacy coordinator a, and taught at several universities. I have been president of both the state affiliates of the National Council of Teachers of English and the International Reading Association. For ten years she directed Colorado Writing Project and continues to co-direct Colorado Critical Friends Group and edit Colorado Reading Council Journal.
