I am just a human being who tries to extremize his Lagrangian in harmony with others by solving the Euler-Lagrange equation or using Feynman's path integral method. Moreover, I am interested in finding the "global" extremum of my Lagrangian rather than the "local" extremum of Lagrangian, whatever they may mean. I wonder why certain alternative paths in my life which could have led to a "better" extremum of Lagrangian have vanished when their amplitudes were summed together in Feynman's path integral.
