What is a Game?




                      ●It is a system in which player(s) engage in an
                      artificial conflict or a task detached from reality
                      ●The conflict or the task must be defined by
                      rules and there should be one or many
                      quantifiable outcome(s)

What is a Computer Game?



                      ●It is a game based on a computer system that
                      is generally more complex, vastly more
                      responsive and interactive than a game.
                      ●The computer game should not be an end to
                      itself but part of a larger system that include
                      tangible elements.

                      ●Within that frame the game’s rules create a set
                      of meanings for the player(s). These meanings
                      guide the play of the game
                      ●A certain state of mind is required to play a
                      game
                      ●A Game can be either driven by rule(s), play(s)
                      or culture(s).
