The work of artist Charley Peters explores the liminal space in between chance and control. Interested in the pure aesthetic of line, her drawings are created as a response to material placed within a defined space: ink on paper, tape on walls, stretched yarn. Peters engages with labour intensive and process-based practices, where repetition and/or site specificity encourages generative methods of drawing.
