Angelique Lombarts holds a Ph.D. in Organanizational Anthropology from the Vrije University of Amsterdam. Former studies include the Hotel Management School in Maastricht and Social Sciences (VU Amsterdam). Her research interests include theories of city- and region marketing, PPS, governance and tourism and leisure aspects.
Angelique combines a career in academia and the professional work field. With her own company AloA Consultancy, she advises companies on their strategic and commercial processes and assists them with implementing their new policies. As lector at an university for applied sciences, she conducts research in the areas of city marketing policies, tourism and leisure.
