Yinka Tanimomo was born,to his great surprise in Abeokuta. He moved quickly to correct the situation. When his parents emigrated to Lagos, Yinka(one year old at the time) stowed away in their baggage. He has been a Lagosian since then.
Brought up in Abesan and educated in its best schools, he eventually found his way to Obafemi Awolowo University and, over the protests of the school administration, managed to annex a degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering up to and including a Ph.D. He then ~ infiltrated Stanford University and climbed the academic ladder, ignoring all cries of outrage, until he found himself Professor of Machine Learning.
