Successfully won concessions at the OMB to secure further hydrology studies in an area known as the West Side Lands in Waterloo Ontario. The studies were designed to circumvent risks to fisheries, protected wetland features and municipal groundwater. OMB hearing PL071044.
I was sued by a developer for $2 million dollars for building a website that exposed labor law and environmental infringements. The site contributed to the reporting of incidents and resulted in charges and stop actions in Waterloo Region. The lawsuit was settled out of court and it is now being used as case study to create anti-SLAPP laws in Ontario.
