Christian Zirpins is a full professor for Distributed Systems in the faculty of Computer Science and Business Information Systems at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, Germany. His areas of interest include distributed middleware- and software-technologies for Web-based systems engineering. Christian studied computer science and business administration at Hamburg University where he also received his PhD focusing on service-oriented systems.
