1. Burning (Step 1) - Develop self-awareness of your personal motivation or "burning" for addressing a challenge through reflection and sharing experiences. The CISP participants reflected on moments when they felt fulfilled in their work.
2. Sensing (Step 2) - Gather information on the challenge through research, discussions with stakeholders and experts, and first-hand experiences to deeply understand it. The CISP staff used root cause analysis and a "deep dive" approach to understand gender-based violence in Somalia.

The CYCC Network held a Wisdom2Action event in Ottawa titled "Trauma to Resilience" to facilitate knowledge sharing between participants from various sectors working to support vulnerable youth. The event used participatory methods like world cafe and open space discussions to explore key issues around sexual violence such as lack of education, stigma, and system barriers. Participants shared ideas on how to better prevent violence and promote resilience, including trauma-informed practices, youth empowerment, and improving access to supportive resources and education across systems and communities. The human insulin protein is composed of 51 amino acids, and has a molecular mass of 5808 Da. It is a heterodimer of an A-chain and a B-chain, which are linked together by disulfide bonds. Insulin's structure varies slightly between species of animals. Insulin from non-human animal sources differs somewhat in effectiveness (in carbohydrate metabolism effects) from human insulin because of these variations. Porcine insulin is especially close to the human version, and was widely used to treat type 1 diabetics before human insulin could be produced in large quantities by recombinant DNA technologies.
