The TO Foundation is a social enterprise focused on increasing security in society through a rehabilitation program for prisoners. In Costa Rica 70% of inmates that leave prison will become repeat offenders and will get back to prison. TO built a leather-goods manufacturing facility in the penitentiary, provides training in manufacturing, small business, teamwork and discipline. Once the inmate leaves prison he can continue working in an outside workshop or the foundation finances his equipment and materials so he can establish his own small business.
