This document discusses assessing the impact of effluents from the Nigeria Bottling Company on water quality. It will determine the variation in effluent characteristics from the company and examine water quality. Samples will be collected and analyzed for physicochemical parameters like pH, temperature, conductivity, suspended solids, dissolved solids, biochemical oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand, cations, anions, heavy metals, and dissolved oxygen. The toxicity of effluents from three plants will be determined and recommendations made to industry and government on risks of untreated effluent discharge into water bodies.
