Aalok is a member of APMs Thames Valley Regional Network and also speaks to members of APMs PMO Interest Network, which aims to facilitate collaboration and learning, offer unbiased advice and guidance.
Tonight, Aalok planned to discuss the importance of a PMO within project-based organisations, the different types of PMO and their key elements, PMO governance and centres of excellence.
PMOs within an organisation can be centralised, hub and spoke with a central PMO with satellite PMOs globally, or embedded within projects. The appropriate structure will be determined by the specific business needs of the organisation. The PMO sits above PM delivery and the supply chain delivery teams.

- 1. Proposal 1 Working Title: The Spirit Voices What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later Products Purpose: Its main purpose is to entertain and educate people on the spiritual realm. Its mainly supposed to be a completion of audio files of raw footage and evidence of ghost anomalies. My product will be centrally targeted at those who are curious about ghosts and life after death. Since most of the audio clips will have strange sounds that cant be explained in any way, like if there is a haunted house with no windows open and no one inside the house and the audio device picks up a door slowly opening and shutting loudly. These things that cant be explained are mysterious and makes most people scratch their heads. The overall goal is to make the listener keep tuning onto my Audio books. I will achieve this by giving off a sense of mystery that is utterly unexplainable. What is the products purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this? Genre: Its an Audio book series that has the best and most mysterious Spirit anomalies recorded throughout history and in the current times. It could be viewed as a educational or learning Audio book since you gain information and are left with a question that you try to figure out in the most scientific way possible but if there is no explanation then the more people will be convinced that Spirits do exist. What sort of product is it Content: My product will alwaysbe associated with the theme of spiritual and unexplained anomaliesbut I wont repeat the same audio file to cheat my audience. It will involve short stories to explain the reasoning behind playing the audio clip. Like I would say this couple heard really weird scratching noises in the attic and didnt know what it was so the husband put a recording device by the attic door inside the attic to see if they could hear it better. And when they replayed the audio they heard a voice say their names. This would be a typical creepy and unexplainable anomaly. What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If so, discuss it here Audience: My target audience will be people who are curious and like being creeped out. like people who love to watch horror and scary movies to get purposely scared. The age would be from early 20s to late 50s because a lot of young people are open minded and would be open to interpretation. And a lot of older people are more religious as they get older and they hope that there is a god of some kind so when they leave this world there is another waiting fro them. Since everyone fears death and if there is a chance of redemption most elderly people will take it. And they would use my product or other alike to get more educated on the spiritual and mysterious side of the world. Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc Why would your project appeal to this person?
- 2. Proposal 2 Legal & Ethical Considerations: There is no offensive language used on my product, but for the audio files that I source if there is any swearing or foul language I will bleep it out. This will be the result of getting scared from a scary response when asking a question like is anyone there and getting a reply behind you this would cause anyone to freak out and swear. I will restrict people younger then 13 to listen to my audio books since I dont think they would be bothered or even care but people older might find stuff like my product interesting. I will occasionally refer to religious groups like if the location of an anomaly was an abandoned church then id bring up a brief history of that location, and the religious group. I will ensure that I dont use any foul language or audio clips that offend anyone from any religion or social group. I will use an audio clip from most haunted as a real life event and anomaly that really did take place. I will have to try to do my research and find one where they use a recording device to communicate with the spirits. Then I will use a completely made up and my own created Recording file trying to replicate sound and voices by myself. I will listen to other audio books of a similar nature and try to make mine as unique and more appealing aspossible. Most other audio books have long stories but I will have small stories, and I will include audio files of paranormal recordings. Think about any offensive material you will include? Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright infringement?
