Eratosthenes was a Greek mathematician who invented a method for finding prime numbers called Eratosthenes' Sieve. The method involves starting with a list of consecutive integers from 2 to a specified integer n and systematically removing multiples of primes in order to find all primes below n. Specifically, it involves crossing out multiples of 2, then multiples of 3, then multiples of 5, and so on. After removing multiples of all primes below the specified integer, the remaining numbers are all prime.
