Pipeline Maintenance Supervisor: (PARCO) 2009 to Present • Carryout Preventive and Corrective Maintenance activities in Coordination with station and terminals. • Supervise staff for rapid and safe work, ensuring they are well equipped with relevant material proper tools. • Carryout scheduled survey of pipeline to check the extent of external corrosion of pipeline. • Liaison with Corrosion Protection team to ensure proper maintenance of pipeline network. • Pipeline replacement due to internal corrosion in the assigned region and prioritize the repair maintenance work accordingly. • Carryout NDT (Thickness Monitoring) of pipeline on schedule basis. • Hydro testing and commissioning of new pipeline segments. • Launch and receive cleaning PIGs in pipeline according to schedule. • Line up MOV’s and coordinate with operation staff for smooth pigging operation. • Assist pipeline pigging contractor to carryout intelligent pigging campaign in the region after thorough communication and preparation. • Carry out the protective work on defect points found by intelligent pigging result according to priority. • Inspection of Pipeline over heads to ascertain condition and painting. • Supervision of sleeve welding activities at defected points of pipeline and visual welding inspection.
- 2. • Ensure proper procedure implementation and safe working at welding sites. • Supervise the welding and coating work of HSD and crude pipelines. Carry out the inspection of coated site. • Supervise gas cutting and fabrication of sleeves and spools for pipeline. • Supervise and Carry out assorted welding tasks on site and in Workshop. • Overlook Workshop activities and ensure all equipment is kept in good condition. • Ensure workshop is kept well equipped and raise MR and PR in SAP for the deliverance of stock and non-stock items. • Coordinate with Materiel department for spare parts procurement and inspection. • Right of way (ROW) maintenance to ease patrolling and approach near pipeline. • Preventive and breakdown maintenance of remotely operated Block valve assemblies. • Ensure proper housekeeping of Valve Assemblies. • Immediate response to pipeline emergency, spillage and leakage, quick detection of fault and performance of effective remedial action. • Preventive and corrective maintenance of Main line pumps (Make: David Brown UK). • Preventive and corrective maintenance of MOV’s (Motor operated valves). • Prepare Work permits and obtain approval for Welding, Excavation and other maintenance activities. • Coordinate with fire and safety function of the designated area for obtaining required assistance during execution of hot work at site and prepare the periodic progress report. • Maintain record of all maintenance activities, system manuals, drawings, equipment details, checklists, and administrative affairs. • Closing of work orders (Break down and Preventive) using latest SAP system Implement and fulfil the HSE and PTW requirements before proceeding for any job and ensure safe and efficient job execution. Major activities include Heat Exchangers: U & I type Shell and tube cleaning by hydro jetting, shell and tubes pre- inspection and post inspection, Assembling and disassembling, hydro testing, proper installation of gaskets, removal of furmanite clamp cutting by gouging, facing of tube sheet and channel covers. Columns and Vessels: Blinding & DE blinding , Mechanical cleaning, pre and post inspection, replacement of damaged trays and bubble caps, cleaning of packing, replacement and repair of demister pads, proper installation of gaskets, distributor nozzles assembling/disassembling and cleaning .
