Project Summary Saudi Aramco Design, engineering, procurement and construction (IK-LSTK) of a grass-root Central Utility Plant (CUP) associated with King Abdullah University for Science & Technology (KAUST). The CUP is comprised of three major components: a sea water reverse osmosis potable water treatment plant with capacity to produce a Peak Daily Consumption (PDC) of 32 ML/day, a central chiller plant with the cooling capacity of approximately 45,000 tons and a waste water treatment plant with a peak hourly flow of approximately 38,000 m3 per day.
