The basketball court consists of a rectangular floor with baskets at each end, usually made of wood and highly polished. It measures 94 by 50 feet in the NBA and slightly smaller under FIBA rules. The court also includes markings for the free throw lane, three-point line, sidelines, baselines, center jump circle, and division line. The standard basket consists of a backboard and rim that holds the net and is positioned 10 feet high.
