of CFO of the Chennai plant manufacturing Lamps 2011

took over as CFO of Osram Lighting pvt. Ltd , India from June
2016.

Professional Training :
o Nominated from Siemens for theProgramme for Business
Managers in IIM Bangalore for 4 Months. The course

o Was also deputed for 15 months to Siemens Germany for
Orientation programme and understanding all systems

Organizational Experiences
From 1982 till 2011 worked in Siemens Limited :
Have come up in the company from Commercial trainee to current
position of General Manager - Business AdministrationSouthern
Region with experience in WORKS , SALES AND HEAD OFFICE
FUNCTIONS.
2007 -2010
Took up the responsibility of Western region Project commercial
function as handling business to the tune of Rs. 200 crores and
transferred to Chennai to head the project business of Southern
Region as GM Business Administration from April  2008 and going
strong covering Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh .
2005-2006
Handling the total Commercial Activities of the New Transformer
Factory being put up by Siemens in Thane, Kalwa .Total investment
planned of Rs. 150 crores. Have worked from the start of the project
and have been involved in all commercial negotiations and discussions
for the setting up of the factory.
2004-2005
Before this assignment , was holding responsibility of Energy
ManagementDepartment of Power Transmission and Distribution
Division for 11/2 yearsas their Commercial Incharge looking after all
Commercial activities of the department. EM Department looks after
High end Scada and Software development in Scada and Applications
for Siemens ,Germany.
1999- 2004
Was holding responsibility of PTD/M Sales Commercial activities of
Western Region, Northern Region and Eastern Region. Business
Volume handled was around Rs. 1750'0 and included Project Turnkey
Orders from Electricity Boards, etc. for5 years .The job involved
studying Tenders for the Commercialconditions and its comments ,
Pricing decision alongwith the Regional Manager , Contracts with sub-
suppliers , Negotiations and finalization , Order profitability . Project
monitoring and follow up , Debtors follow up and collection etc.
1982- 1999
I started off in the Works division in their Costing department and
continued for 5 years before being selected in Computer section based
on IQ tests and worked for 1 year in IT department.
Subsequentlylooking at the costing and computer background was
transferred to Head Office to handle Central functions for a period of
2 years. Having obtained sufficient knowledge of Works and Head
Office functions, I wasdeputed to Madras Sales office to handle Sales
Commercial function for a period of 2 years upto 1992.
Siemens Management recognising the talents and performance gave a
challenging opportunity of taking over the Commercial operations of
newly set up Aurangabad Factory. Initially starting as Incharge of
Switchgear Factory, I was additionally given the reins of Solar and
Optical Fibre Cable Factory. Having handled efficiently the
commercial aspects of the three factories, Siemens nominated me for a
special Commercial training in Germany for a period of 15 months. I
successfully completed the training in Germany and got further inputs
in the sphere of WORKS ACTIVITIES, SALES ACTIVITIES along
with special emphasis on Cost Control, Activity Based Costing,
Marketing Strategies Adopted in Europe and Target Costing. I
alsoattended a 2 month Seminar conducted by Siemens Germany to
stress upon requirements to counter Cultural Changes, Changing
Business Situations and Market Developments. After the requisite
training in Germany, I took up the responsibility in western Region 
Sales of Power Distribution Division.
Within one year of taking up this assignment, I was nominated for
acomprehensive programme for Business Managers conducted by
Indian Instituteof Management, Bangalore especially for Siemens.
This programme lasted for 4 遜 months with specialised guidance by
professionals Psychology, Marketing, Finance, Strategy, Production
Management ProductCosting, Project Management, Supply Chain
Management, Industrial Relations, Re-organisation, Micro and Macro
Economics etc. Our teams Project Report namely Relationship
Marketing  Retrofit Solutions was adjudged as one of the
outstanding Project and was awarded the GOLD MEDAL.
From 2011 till date in Osram India Limited
Worked as CFO of Speciality Lighting division handling Chennai plant
commercial activities for 5 years .
Got promoted as CFO of Osram Lighting pvt. Ltd from June 2016.
Current Position:CFOOsram Lighting private limited
Current Salary :Around Rs 55,00,000/- per annum
