This case report describes the physical therapy intervention for a 44-year-old man who experienced a stroke. The goals were to improve his ability to walk short distances, climb stairs, and navigate obstacles. The therapist applied the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) to guide the client's evaluation and documentation. A 4-week intervention focused on improving impairments, activities, and participation. Outcomes showed increased walking speed, endurance, limb function, and coordination. The ICF-based approach helped establish relevant goals and track the client's progress.
