 Some of my team members have successfully taken Head of Finance role in various large MNC organizations in Vietnam, overseas and my home
country.
 Key member of the team to successfully set up the US$ 20Mn new plant in MPIP Binh Duong in 2007 for ICI Paints Vietnam.
 Key member of the strategy team that developed and transformed the company to be the market leader in 2005 from 3rd position 4 years earlier and
continue to lead as the market leader till date in the Decorative Paints market in Vietnam.
 Team leader for planning and executing successful integration of two plant operations in 2007. Leader of Transition team working on various aspects to
set up processes for New Plant. Successfully set up team to manage the integration and consolidated reporting structure.
Processes
 Implemented Alpha in 2014 in Central Europe (Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania) cluster of Decoative Paints ESEA
 Successfully migrated to a global standard chart of accounts in time on full in 2012. Received positive comments from global team on team work,
timeliness and full execution as per agreed parameters and timelines.
 Successfully implemented SAP : Key Lead SAP project in 2011  in full on time across various functions through cross functional team work.
 Highest number of best practices sharing across the SEAP region is from Vietnam Finance
 Developed robust analytical tools to measure financial performance and manage future forecasting and risk mitigation. Most of the reports and tools
developed were shared in other units as best practices.
 Worked with bankers on a cash management Partner Banking concept reducing cash handling from > 75% to below 1% in 1 year. Was published as a case study in
the HSBC annual magazine  HSBCs Guide to Cash & Treasury Management in Asia Pacific 2004
Controls
 Implemented strong control environment and improved Internal Audit ratings from Poor to the best internal rating of Satisfactory within a year of
joining ICI Paints in 2001.
 Have continuously achieved good ratings from Corporate Internal Audit and have had no major adjustment of books from external auditors.
 Focus and believe in ownership of clean balance sheet and transparency and controls as the key license to operate strength for an organization but
ensuring understanding of market needs are included to make it robust and continuous sustainable improvements is met
 Implemented Sarbox 404 in 2005.
Others
 Successfully converted ICI Paints Vietnam JV Co into a 100% FIE in June 2008 as key lead member of the team working for the project. Similar
achievement in converting the bottlers Joint Venture in Hanoi to 100% FIE for Coca-Cola in Vietnam.
 Dealing with JV partners, tax and other authorities on various issues.

 Corporate (global) award 2010 for significant improvements in OWC (Operating Working
Capital)  Award of approximately US$ 150K given to team as recognition from global.
 Awarded the Best Performance Finance Team Trophy by Group CFO for Asia in 2007.
 Successfully completed distributor disengagement in 2005 contributing 35% of total revenue
with NIL financial impact to business. Received note of appreciation from CEO Asia Pacific.
 Note of appreciation in 2006 annual cash turnaround through various sustainable initiatives
 Performance Award by the Regional Management in recognition of the high level of
performance and commitment to build the finance infrastructure and develop local hires
during the initial set up of Coca-Cola operations in Vietnam
 Note of appreciation for successfully setting up SOS medical centre in Phnom Penh
 Letter of appreciation for developing complex salary system for over 500 employees in
Bottlers Nepal  bottling unit of Coca-Cola. Was fully manual before this set up.

 Graduated - Degree in Commerce - University of North Bengal India.
 Higher Secondary Examination (H.S.) of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education with Science from India.
 Indian Certificate for Secondary Education (ICSE) Examination -from St. Josephs School, North Point Darjeeling, India.
 Currently pursuing MBA degree from RMIT Australia, Vietnam campus. To be completed in 2015/16.
INTERESTS - Enjoy and admire spontaneous creativity in any form of art. Love nature and creation
 Passion for painting and do continue to do so
 Reading and trying new trends in the IT environment and reading about innovations.
