Zdrava Kamenova is a talented Bulgarian playwright born in 1979. Her play "Deviations" explores the lives of four young people struggling with love and identity. Each character tries to understand their desires but can only express themselves through media cliches. By identifying with unrealistic screen personalities, the characters are unable to face reality and remain alone, merely consuming illusions rather than living authentic lives. The play illustrates the difficulty of being honest with oneself and others in today's media-manipulated world.
