- 1. Equipment Throughout the photo-shoot I used lots of new equipment, including lighting umbrellas and the use of a grey background to make it look more professional. Due to my inexperience of using this new equipment, a friend of mine took the majority of the pictures used, whilst on of the models took a few other pictures also, allowing me to adopt a more directing roll of how I wished to position my models. This new equipment meant that the pictures taken would have a much more professional feel and fit in well with my magazine. The use of new software such as InDesign and Photoshop also posed as potential difficulties, however I was able to watch some tutorials on the basics to get started, and picked up the rest during the process of working.
