The eye has several key parts that protect and enable vision. The eyebrows help shade the eyes from sunlight and sweat. The eyelids protect the eyes from damage by closing. The conjunctiva lines the eyelids and eyeball, lubricating the eye with mucus. Extrinsic muscles control eyeball movement.
