The Murder Cafe was founded by sisters Maria and Jamie Bond as a joke based on their conversations about committing crimes they were accused of but didn't commit. Jamie's love of food and Maria's descriptions led them to open the cafe, where the menu offers food items associated with different motives and crimes, such as a cheese platter for being cheated on or a steak for murder. Customers can work through the "justice system" by ordering dessert after their "crime."
