- 5. A contract between the audience and the film- makers. Audience build up genetic memory and can predict what will happen this is so the director can play on this idea. So they can change the expectation.
- 6. Genre Boundaries E.g. Terminator 2: Action Science fiction Genre boundaries can be flexible and you can get hybirds (e.g. Terminator 2). Terminator 2 contain two different genres: Action and adventure and Science fiction. Another hybird is back to the future 3. This contains: Action and adventure, science fiction, comedy and romance.
- 7. Terminator 2 Terminator 2 is a science fiction and an actor film. It is a science fiction because it show that the terminator is scanning people with his digital eyesight. Also he is an indestructible robot, I know this because when the man tries to burn him with his cigar, it doesnt effect him. The terminator also time travels which shows it is an science fiction. This is also an action film because when the man in the pub pushes his cigar on the terminator, the terminator fights back. Which is the action part of the film.
