The Coquitlam city archive collection is growing substantially due to several large donations received in 2014, most notably from the Coquitlam Heritage Society. These donations included hundreds of photographs, glass plate negatives, and other historical documents. The largest donation provided many of the archive's historic images of places like Maillardville and Fraser Mills. The growing collection is filling the 300 square foot room allocated for archives storage, so the city is now exploring options for a permanent archive location.

The Baldwin Library of Historical Children's Literature is the second largest children's literature collection in the US, with over 120,000 books, manuscripts, and artifacts. It began as a private collection donated to the University of Florida in the late 1970s. The Baldwin Library has digitized over 5,800 public domain titles, which are available through the University of Florida Digital Collections and the International Children's Digital Library. The Baldwin Library is the largest single contributor to the International Children's Digital Library in order to increase global access to and discovery of its historical children's literature holdings. The Baldwin Library aims to continue strengthening its collaborative relationship with the International Children's Digital Library.

Shan Robinson's presentation: My talk will feature some of the outreach and promotional projects undertaken by the Library and Archive Service at Bangor University. These projects and activities fulfil our commitment to providing quality outreach work which opens doors between the University and the community at large. In the past few years we have completed a number of new and novel projects which have been designed to showcase the collections and offer original context in which to present the collections to the public. This led to Bangor Library and Archive Service shortlisted for a prestigious Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Award (THELMA) for their outreach and community engagement work in 2017. As well as bringing Town and Gown together, these projects also provide an opportunity for Bangor students to volunteer and win employability credits working alongside specialists form various agencies. From a University standpoint the aim is to encourage the public to be comfortable in the University setting and raise learning aspirations of individuals of all age.

APM People Interest Network Conference 2025 -Autonomy, Teams and Tension: Projects under stress -Tim Lyons -The neurological levels of team-working: Harmony and tensions With a background in projects spanning more than 40 years, Tim Lyons specialised in the delivery of large, complex, multi-disciplinary programmes for clients including Crossrail, Network Rail, ExxonMobil, Siemens and in patent development. His first career was in broadcasting, where he designed and built commercial radio station studios in Manchester, Cardiff and Bristol, also working as a presenter and programme producer. Tim now writes and presents extensively on matters relating to the human and neurological aspects of projects, including communication, ethics and coaching. He holds a Master’s degree in NLP, is an NLP Master Practitioner and International Coach. He is the Deputy Lead for APM’s People Interest Network. Session | The Neurological Levels of Team-working: Harmony and Tensions Understanding how teams really work at conscious and unconscious levels is critical to a harmonious workplace.
