Interloop International was exporting Knitted Garments ladies wear, party wear, night wear, sportswear ,
mens wear, leggings, jogging trousers, mens T-shirt , V- neck T-shirts, mens polo etc mostly to Europe,
Scandinavian countries like Sweden , Norway, Holland, Germany and also to America.
Interloop international was dealing with catalogue buyer Halens, Celbes, Wehkamp , H&M, Zeemen and also
to WallMart America. was working on different types of fabrics like fleece velour, crinkle velour, polar fleece,
terry fleece, single jersey polyster /viscose, flat back rib, Hi interloop (imported fabric) tight-fleace, interlock
and yarn dyed single jersey.
Interloop International consist of:
. 2 stiching unit , each unit having 90 machines and production capacity of about 8,000 to 10,000 dozen of
different styles.
After joining I provided system to the company for smooth functioning of factory production and more
control over quantity and quality and to improve the overall efficiency of the company by establishing
following department :
a. Establish Fabrication Department by appointing fabrication staff and trained them if required,
arrange in house fabric testing, Grey fabric checking, dyed fabric checking and shade checking.
2. b. Shifted Cutting from panel cutting to range cutting and also established Separate Bundling
Department and to guide Pattern Master to adjust the pattern according to fabric behavior.
c. By appointing Stiching Incharge , line checkers, inline quality controllers and final checkers.
d. By appointing of Finishing Incharge contractors etc.
e. By appointing of Quality Controller to control the quality and to arrange the inspection from the
buyers inspector and get the approval from them. And finally to prepare closing report mentioning all
details of defects and % of rejection.
f. Responsible to send Pre-production sample and Shipment Sample according to buyers
specification and comments and get the approval from the buyer. And finally to prepare the packing
list and send it to buyer according to purchase-order.
g. To prepare Invoice and guide to Export Department to take the loading program from buyers
nominated forwarder and ship the goods accordingly.
h. To guide merchandising department for Shipment samples and Shipment dates and also guide them
to answer the difficult comments regarding production.
Finally I was responsible to run the factory smoothly, efficiently and with the satisfaction of buyers. Usualy
buyers inspect the Goods on arrival and release the payment.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
After joining increased the excisting production capacity from 2,500 dozen to 5,000 dozen with in six
months of joining by increasing about forty stiching machines. Stop working with all CMT factories .Due to
increase in order quantity installed unit 2 of 100 machines having capacity of 5,000 dozen. M/S Interloop
was highest exporter of Pakistan to America in ladies wear ( 339 quota catogory) in 2004.
ALIF TEXTILE INDUSTRIES: Jan 1996 to 1998
General Manager:
In this capacity I am responsible to run all functions of production unit starting from acquiring the materials
and finishing the job for shipment. I also wrok closely with marketing fuction in order to quote prices to
customers and to provide desired samples for getting the orders.
The Set-up of Alifs vertical unit consist of :
a. 365stiching machines having a monthly capacity of producing 10,000 dozens of different of garments.
b. Number of knitting machines having daily capacity of finishing 1500 to 3000 kg of fabric.
c. A dying unit having daily capacity to dye 3,000 kg of fabric.
My routine job responsibilities were:
a. To prepare and execute dying, knitting and production plan.
b. To supervise production and administration staff.
c. To negotiate labour wages with contractors.
d. To guide the knitting & knitting supervisors.
e. To guide the cutting master in preparation of pattern & marker and stiching supervisor.
f. To arrange inspection from buyer (quality control).
g. To take approval from inspector on colour matching, crocking, colour fastness, shrinkage and
accessories and final inspection on AQL 4.

3. DESIGN AND DESIGNED KNITWEAR Jan 1989 to Dec 1995
MANAGING PARTNER:
Established a company from scratched named Designed &designed knitwear in 1989. I was appointed as
managing Director of the company by other two partners having equal shares (33%) in the investment. The
main business of the D&D knitwear was to deal in manufacturing & exporting of ready-made knitted
garments. The Unit production capacity was to produce 3,000 dozen of different type of garments from 60
stiching machines.
My job responsibilities in different areas of the company were as follows:
Marketing:
Getting orders and negotiating the rates & delivery dates with buyers from America, Holland,, Germany and
Belgium. (EWS-Germany, soldered Textile-Belgium, JohnsonkidsHolland, K mart, jassie Penny, wall Mart,
spirit, sara lee).
NOTE. The company had produced and exported different products like joggers, jogging,suits, bedsheets
knitted fitted, ladies V-Neck, sweat shirts with chest embroidery, Henly, reversible, Jackets, Capri, Cycling
Pants, Shorts with Rotary Print, Polo with allover, Print Pajama suit with motive chest print.
Fabrication:
Working on three end fleece , single jersey, Thermal Pique, 1x1 Rib, 5x5 drop needle rib, French terry, pontile
jersey, Yarn dyed strip, Interlock with brushing, Interlock drop needle, yarn dyed pique.
Production:
Arranging of yarn , guiding supervisors for making of knitting & dyeing program according to order
specifications, guiding the master in preparation of pattern and marker preparation of production plan and
implementing the programs accordingly, Getting the clearance from buyers inspector before shipment.
Banking:
Arranging funds/re-finance pre shipment and post shipment from banks arranging and negotiating the expost
documents, checking of export documents like packing list, B/L, AWB,FCR,visa,I.C and also arranging quota
from market.
Finance/Costing/Acoounts:
Preparation of cash flow with production plan, arranging credit from supplier according to cash flow.
Checking the dyeing, knitting, wages and accessories bills, and negotiate rates of all accessories, dyeing,
knitting, with the suppliers and arrange payments. Costing of export articles,comparison statement of
budgeted cost sheet with actual cost sheet showing the variances and give reasons for variances. To supervise
the accounts department and get the account finalized from them.
