My way of working as given below
I am following the order from the initial stage from sampling till shipment.
Sampling section:
After receiving the original sample I go though all operations/attachments/machines/fabrics and trims then
instruct to master for pattern with the required shrinkage allowance. We have to keeping all required machines
and attachment. After the completion of the sample master/Q.A and myself compare with the original sample
and check all measurements points then forward to concerned merchandiser with reports for approval.
Pre-production meeting
After inline and. Q.A release i have been organizing pre-production meeting along with original approved
sample. Special operation is being highlighted and discussed with the concerned persons with simple process
to speed up the production.
Store-
It is strictly seen that the fabric issued is being toughly checked and problems are being highlighted prior to the
cutting.
Cutting-
After receiving approved sample/shade card/cutting ratio and draw fabric marker for consumption. This
consumption is informed to merchandiser/storekeeper in order to check the received fabric qty and issued to
cutting section accordingly.
Layering/consumption reposts maintained and reporting to production should slow down due to cutting
problem.
4. Production floor
Before the actual input a layout is being mad will all the attachments, approved samples, trim charts with skilled
operations to concerned operators. I strictly check line supervisor with hourly production report if any operator
has back log I go though the reason of problem, if found is solved immediately.
Quality assurance section
Before cutting/input organize preproduction and quality meeting provide order file discuss the way for swiftness
of production and deployment of skilled operation. The section is independent and no one can interfere in their
decision every line Q.A should know all
About the order and understand all technical points which are discussed already in the production meeting. The
problematic areas and operators are reported to line supervisor.
Ironing section
After per final check, finishing supervisor must illustrate to pressman how to iron and set temperature/stream
according the requirement of garment, shining must be avoided during iron.
Final checker
Checks thoroughly each and every operation if ant discrepancies find in the Passed garment, reports
immediately to the supervisors and pre final checkers. The final checker should not pass any discrepancy or
any defected piece is found; otherwise the final checker will be penalized.
Trims
Price ticket& hang tag must be well informed to concerned person before starting the bulk. I have to get the
approval from the buyers’ representative/merchandiser. Packing as per the instruction of the buyers, polybag,
carton dimensions as appears the buyers description after the completion of order prepare the packing
list/reconciliation included all breakdown of rejections.
Q.A manager
Must be well aware of all inspections of order s and check all hourly reports Q.A table checker and final
checker, according to their reports. He takes repaid action in talk to supervisors as well as operators. He must
go though from cutting to packing section and control all problems. i have to take actions against all problems
that are highlighted by him. Q.A manager checks packed and unpacked garments do daily inspection to avoid
any failure in the final inspection.
