Fathers would drink heavily, spend all earnings, and cause problems when returning home. Students wrote about their feelings and created awareness slogans. The staff communicated with parents and students to spread awareness about stopping domestic violence and alcohol abuse, which was a major cause. Students at Ryan International School organized a literacy program to teach illiterate maids at their school to read basic Hindi words. SUMMARY
This report is an account of my association with Kotak Education Foundation, along with
other students of ITM, for two weeks (from 10th November to 22nd November, 2014). It
chronicles all our activities as a team of volunteer interns for Kotak Education Foundation during
the aforementioned period.
Kotak Education Foundation (KEF), an NGO formed in 2007 by Mr.Uday Kotak ( Vice
Chairman and Managing Director, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd), Mrs.Pallavi Kotak and
Mr.Shivaji Dam (Former Director , Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd) , caters to the education and
livelihood needs of the underprivileged section of the society.
In the areas of education KEF has partnered with 30 schools catering to underprivileged students.
In the schools, the foundation teaches spoken English to students of class 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th.
The spoken English program is supported by other programs such as Health, Parenting, School
Teacher's and Principal Development and Scholarship.

- 3. Imagine regarding DFC Our students make discussion on the issues & then decided the issue they would like to change. the issue they choose USE OF ABUSE LANGUAGE. When parents used abuse language in front of their children they also use such type of abuse language. Various solutions which come up students minds are following:-door to door home visit,rally,role play. Our school students implement role play & rally to create awareness among village people.

DO Students ,teachers and community member are involved in the following activities:- Rally:-Our school students ,with the help of banners march to the village .teachers and community members also the part of rally. ROLE PLAY:-in role play the students show the home environment of two different families. in which one family use good language and other use abuse language. At the end in role play summaries the realization of using abuse language. Students prepared the slam book for record the parents comments. after 15 days of the role play & rally students and teachers again go for field visits with slam book. students write the comments from different parents and also voice recording. Then we noticed through students efforts we change the language of the village people.
- 5. Media Coverage - Local Newspapers highlighted the good work being done students of Satya Bharti School Jijjeani in making the community aware of usin words and being Respectful and Humble in daily conversation.
