This document reviews and compares the interactive whiteboard apps ShowMe and Educreations. It provides screenshots and discusses the features of each, including pros and cons. The author's user review prefers Educreations for its text and color options, and finds it easier to manipulate images. While ShowMe is easy to use, the author did not like the inability to use text. The recommendation is that Educreations is better suited for tutorials for adult learners due to its text capabilities and ability to be used across platforms and to create student courses.
The document discusses using iPad apps like ShowMe, Algebra Intro, and Easel Algebra to teach algebra manipulation to weaker secondary 1 students, highlighting how the apps allow hands-on practice, self-directed learning, and feedback while also having some limitations. A review found that students adapted well to using the iPad and that it provides a virtual hands-on experience, but the iPad cannot replace traditional teaching methods and should be used as a tool to facilitate learning rather than limit creativity.
The document provides a rubric for assessing final presentations and self/peer assessments for an Educreations mini garden lesson. It includes categories such as images, voice, narrative, content, and workload distribution. Each category is scored on a scale from 1-4, with 4 being advanced or exemplary, 3 being proficient, 2 being progressing, and 1 being beginning. The rubric provides descriptors of what constitutes each score for each category to guide assessment of the presentations and self/peer reviews.

The intersection of AI and pharmaceutical formulation science highlights significant blind spotssystemic gaps in pharmaceutical development, regulatory oversight, quality assurance, and the ethical use of AIthat could jeopardize patient safety and undermine public trust. To move forward effectively, we must address these normalized blind spots, which may arise from outdated assumptions, errors, gaps in previous knowledge, and biases in language or regulatory inertia. This is essential to ensure that AI and formulation science are developed as tools for patient-centered and ethical healthcare.
