- 2. 2 Employment History Senior ABAP Developer / SAP Security Developer, Xansa (Sopra Steria), Chesterfield (July 2003 Oct 2015) Royal Mail outsourced their Business System division in 2003 to Xansa (later Sopra Steria), Working as a key developer on the Royal Mail account, as well as having the opportunity working on other accounts. Such as Yorkshire Water and BOOTS (Nottingham, D90 Office) Enjoyed being a part of a team of Developers working as a SAP ABAP developer, helping to deliver several high profile projects through their full life-cycle. I have also been the Lead Developer on several smaller projects using the RAD Methodology approach. Also helping to implement numerous upgrades and delivering interfaces, enhancement and performance improvements. - 4. 4 Junior Developer / Analyst, Royal Mail, Chesterfield (July 1993 2003) Secured a great opportunity within Royal Mails Business Systems Department based in Chesterfield, Chetwynd house, as a Junior Developer My first role as a Junior Developer was being a part of one of the largest refinancing projects in the UK for Royal Mail. Learning not only about developing programs, but about the Royal Mail business as a whole. Seeing the whole project through the full life-cycle, including system support and taking ownership of User Support issues. Another large project was preparing for Year 2000, ensuring the software was Year 2000 proof.
