2. Origine del termine moda Il termine moda deriva dal latino modus,i che significa maniera,norma,tempo. Nei secoli passati labbigliamento era appannaggio solo delle classi abbienti per il costo dei tessuti. La moda,detta anche costume,nasce solo in parte dalla necessit umana di coprirsi. Labito ha infatti assunto precise funzioni sociali atte a distinguere le varie classi sociali e le loro mansioni.
