A label provides identification and information about an object by being attached to it. Labels function to identify products and brands, provide information and advertising. There are different kinds of labels like product labels, brand labels, grade labels and descriptive labels. Labels can be found on product packaging for foods, electronics, clothing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and cosmetics. While brands create an identity for a company's products, labels identify and provide details about specific products, including ingredients for items like medicines.
