ABSTRACT : The education sector is one of the sectors most affected by COVID 19. One of the most
concrete challenges for teachers is the lack of ability of many students to use technology and how it is possible
to equalize the level of academic knowledge and ability of students before and during the pandemic. The
purpose of this study is to determine the challenges faced by teachers who teach the Filipino subject using
various teaching modalities during the new normal and to develop an intervention plan to solve it. The research
used the descriptive design method. The respondents were the 26 Filipino teachers at President Ramon
Magsaysay State University selected through population sampling. The study used the researcher's own
instrument. The statistical tools used were the Percentage, Weighted Mean (WM), Analysis of Variance
(ANOVA) and Likert Scale. Based on the results it was found that teachers are highly utilizing the modalities,
gadgets and computer applications in teaching, in accordance with the challenges faced in teaching through the
modalities, there are significant differences in the use of the Teaching Modality but no significant differences in
used gadgets and computer applications in teaching. The researcher designed Project ACE by Instructors using
MoGCA. Teachers can use computers and the Internet to communicate by using Messenger apps.

ABSTRACT : Teachers have an important role to play in enhancing students' learning, which is important for
their future success. Their ability to teach has a direct impact on the learning and development of their learners,
and they can make learning more engaging by selecting instructional materials that are suitable for the class. In
this paper, the researchers aim to determine what instructional materials are best for college students,
specifically for Filipino-related subjects. The researchers gathered the data in order to determine the level and
factors involved in the use of instructional materials. As a sort of quantitative research, this study documents,
calculates, and analyzes the level of use and other aspects by gathering data using a survey questionnaire. In
connection with this, it was discovered that there is a significant difference in the use of traditional and modern
instructional materials in teaching Filipino subjects. Students often used modern instructional materials because
of the factors that it makes the preparation easier in general. Based on the results, the researchers gave a
conclusion and made recommendations to further develop the study.

ABSTRACT: In today’s society, the importance of technology in education is growing. However, we must
use technology in moderation to avoid its negative effects. In education, this refers to the concern that an
excessive reliance on technology may lead to a superficial engagement with knowledge, thereby diminishing the
importance of genuine learning and personal development. This study aims to find out the challenges faced by
secondary school teachers in the era of digital learning and to see the significant differences in the challenges
faced by the teachers according to their area and age. The researchers used a Descriptive Research Design,
which used a survey checklist. The participants in this study were 30 secondary school teachers in some selected
schools in Zamboanga City and Zamboang Sibugay. Based on the collected results and data, the researchers will
present the following conclusion. The most used teaching technology by teachers is the Powerpoint Presentation
and it was found that it is more necessary to improve the knowledge of teachers in teaching the technological
method by attending workshops and other activities. Therefore, it is suggested that teachers be given adequate
technological equipment that they can use in teaching.

ABSTRACT: The use of modern technologies is evolving to facilitate difficult tasks and serve as entertainment
for people. One of the educational tools is the use of ICT for effective teaching and learning. At Western Mindanao
State University, using ICT is not new for the teachers and students. As a result, the researchers conducted a study
to ascertain Pre-Service Teachers' perspectives regarding the effectiveness of utilizing ICT in language teaching
and learning. Determining the elements influencing Pre-Service Teachers' perceptions of the use of ICT in
universities is one of the primary goals of this research. The researchers asked thirty (30) respondents to answer
the survey questionnaire and then described it as descriptive research. With a high mean score of 3.70, indicating
a strong agreement with the effectiveness of ICT in teaching, the Pre-Service Teachers' perceptions were found
to be positive by the researchers following the data search.

Ang **akdang naratibo** ay may mga pangunahing elemento tulad ng **tauhan**, **tagpuan**, **tema**, **salungatan**, at **banghay**. Ang **tauhan** ang mga karakter na gumaganap sa kwento, mula sa pangunahing tauhan hanggang sa mga sumusuportang karakter. Halimbawa ng akdang naratibo ay ang mga **maikling kwento**, **nobela**, at **talambuhay**. Sa mga akdang ito, ang manunulat ay nagkukuwento ng isang kwento na may mga tauhan at nagsisilbing gabay sa mga mambabasa upang matutunan ang mga aral na dulot ng kwento. Ang isang akdang naratibo ay maaaring magtaglay ng iba't ibang emosyon tulad ng saya, lungkot, takot, at pagmamahal, na nakatutulong upang mas maging makulay at buhay ang kwento.
Sa kabuuan, ang akdang naratibo ay isang mahalagang anyo ng panitikan na naglalaman ng mga kwento at karanasan na makapagbibigay ng kasiyahan at aral sa mga mambabasa.

ang Radio o TV. Ang pagtuturo at
pagkatuto sa paraang ito ay magiging
matagumpay lamang kung ito ay
gagamitan pa rin ng nakalimbag na
modyul.
TV/Radio-based Instruction is a learning delivery modality
where televisions and/or radio stations are used as
platforms in delivering important content. As a one-way
form of learning, the modality is not enough in making
learners learn the best way they can. The use of this
modality will only be successful when used as a
supplementary aid and combined with other modalities

2. Ang Modular Distance Learning (ODL)
ay isang uri naman ng "learning
modality" na naghahatid ng pagkatuto sa
pamamagitan ng paggamit ng
nakalimbag na modyul. Ito ay gagamitin
ng mag-aaral sa kaniyang pag-aaral o
self-paced learning habang siya ay nasa
bahay. Ang nakalimbag na modyul ay
nakaayos ayon sa pagkakasunod-sunod
ng mga aralin. Nakasulat na rin dito ang
mga dapat matutuhan ng isang mag-
aaral, kasama ang mga gawain para sa
pagsasanay at pagsusuri upang matiyak
na natutuhan ng isang mag-aaral ang
layunin ng aralin. Ang gurong tagapayo
ay maaaring magsagawa ng
periyodikong pagsusulit sa pamamagitan
ng pag-i-schedule sa mag-aaral upang
bigyan ng pagsusulit. Gayundin, ang
isang guro ay maaari ding magsagawa
ng isang lesson follow-up sa
pamamagitan ng pagtawag sa mga mag-
aaral na may basic cellphone o smart
phone.
Ang Online Distance Learning (ODL) ay

Ang mga ito ay sama-samang ginagamit

ng (1) mag-aaral sa kaniyang guro, o ng (2)
mag-aaral sa mga kagamitang
pampagtuturo, at ng (3) mag-aaral sa
kaniyang kapwa mag-aaral. Dito ang pag-
aaral ay maaaring synchronous (pareho ng
oras ang guro at mag-aaral) o asynchronous
(magkaiba).
Online Distance Learning (ODL) is a learning
