Patrick hates doing homework and instead plays sports and video games. His teachers tell him he needs to do his homework to learn. On St. Patrick's Day, Patrick finds a tiny elf who agrees to do Patrick's homework for 35 days if Patrick saves him from Patrick's cat. However, the elf knows nothing about human subjects like spelling, math, history, and needs Patrick's help to complete the assignments. Patrick ends up working harder than ever helping the elf with his homework. When the semester ends, Patrick gets good grades, surprising his teachers and parents. It is revealed that through helping the elf, Patrick actually ended up doing the homework himself.
