This document provides 8 tips for managing a virtual team: 1) establish team objectives, 2) remind the team they are a team, 3) establish ground rules, 4) obtain the right technology, 5) look for opportunities for the team to socialize, 6) communicate clearly and often with the team, 7) motivate the team, and 8) be considerate of team members given the virtual nature of the work. It acknowledges two sources for images used.
