LTE • Physically optimizing antennas to improve Coverage (RSRP), quality (RSRQ) and reduce interference Noise (SINR) and increase data throughput. • Drive testing sites in clusters for real time information gathering, analysis of the logs and giving recommendation for coverage and quality of service improvement. • Analysis of drive test Logs Using both Probe and Tems Discovery to improve the coverage foot print of Network by mapping out areas with coverage holes and recommendations of new site as required. • Pre and Post Drive test log analysis, to chart road map for cluster and whole network quality of service optimization. • Drive test and analysis of clusters for bandwidth increment on the network from 5Mhz to 10Mhz, and physically optimizing coverage to reduce pollution. • Single Site Verification test to check single sites performance before integration in a cluster so as to optimize effectively to augment the total network performance.
- 2. • CSFB (Circuit Switch Fall Back test). Periodically carried out to monitor users experience switching in between LTE Data services and circuit switched voice calls. This is to improve latency time to fall back to LTE and all its inherent services. • Swap sector correction on site to improve quality and thereby increasing data throughput from users access end. • Tuning and retuning antennas for coverage penetration into difficult areas, both indoors and outdoors. • Improving handover between cells by detecting missing neighbors, overshooting cells and wrong neighbor definition to reduce drops by interference and improve quality of service. • High Level and VIP complaint handling. WCDMA & GSM • Conducting cluster drive Test and coordination of the same for 6 states in Nigeria having more than 2000 sites in total for network monitoring and QOS improvement. • Clustered drive test and analysis for 6Sector Implementation on the network, data gathering and recommendations for improvement. • Physical optimization of sites by tuning antennas tilt and Azimuth. This helps in reducing dropped calls and poor access to the network by mitigating and or totally removing interference on the network. • Tuning antennas with deep precision to cancel interference discovered from drive tests log analysis showing Pilot pollution to resolve poor quality (EC/LO) issues • Route Creation for specific job requirements. for example, during Node B rehoming, creating a cluster route to cover all the sites needed, performing pre and post Drives showing improvement and or Decrement in KPI’s and optimizing same for better NQI • Regular benchmarking drive test, to improve coverage and network Quality index within my region in comparison to other networks. • Hand over improvement by Neighbor optimization which are, detecting missing neighbors, over defined neighbors and coordinate verification of neighboring sites. • Feeder and inter or intra swap Correction to improve Call Drop rate, reduce call block rate and interference caused quality of service. • Physically optimizing sites to reduce pilot pollution, self-interference and external interference due to overshooting sites, this is to improve capacity on the site and HS user traffic improvement. • Drive test investigation for hidden network faults and resolution of same. • Drive test and physical optimization to improve traffic balancing and thereby improve Monitored KPI and Quality of service. • Post processing and analysis of DT log Files for 2G, WCDMA and LTE Drive Tests done in the whole region and outputting recommendations as the need arises. • Physical optimization to resolve SDCCH/TCH Drop thereby improving customer experience • Drive test report preparation and presentation in Power point, Excel and word formats. - 3. • Daily monitoring of KPI, reporting and analyzing worst performing cells in the network in terms of CSSR, Availability, Call Drop and Block call rate. • Monitoring alarms, escalation and follow up for resolution. • Half rate optimization to improve block call rate and also reduce TCH drops due to congestion. • SDCCH channel tuning optimization to improve CSSR and reduce block rate • Frequency optimization, retuning, and re-planning for resolution of interference. • Interference analysis and resolution to improve users experience on call quality and eliminate call drops • Reporting daily KPI’s under my BSC for monitoring and improvement plan recommendation. • 1st level customer complaint handling and resolution. Radio Frequency Optimization LTE • Power control optimization reference signal power to improve throughput by reducing the excessive load on the cell. • ERAB CSSR Optimization, by optimizing access nodes on UU interface, • Blinding for good CSFB and access delay improvement. • Neighbor optimization to improve backward compatibility, and seamless handover for retain ability. • Power management for the reduction of failure rates, high throughput and better QOS. • Daily KPI parameter tuning and reporting for proactive resolution of issues that might arise in the future.
