When his parents hear him, they feed the cow so it will burp up Patufet, which it does. Everyone is happy that Patufet is safe.

Hearing Patufet's cries from inside the bull's stomach, they fed the bull until it burst, allowing Patufet to escape unharmed. The three then returned home singing happily.
