Mother duck takes her two baby ducklings to the river each day and warns them not to go far from her or the hungry fox will eat them. One day at the river, the fox sees the ducklings alone and hatches a plan to catch them by luring them out of the water. The baby ducklings refuse to leave the safety of the water despite the fox's tricks. The fox then jumps on a floating log to reach the ducklings but the moving currents of the river carry the log and the fox far away, keeping the babies safe. Mother duck returns with food and they all celebrate being free from the fox.
