Responsibilities as QA/QC Inspector
 Perform Incoming Material Inspection verifies MTCs according to Code, Project Specifications and
Applicable Standards.
 Ensure handling, & storage of Materials in accordance with Project Specifications and Approved
procedure as Agreed with Client .
 Monitor all welding activities during execution and erection, and final inspection with client.
 Co-ordinate in preparation & Implementation of Inspection Test plain (ITP), as per applicable code
and Project Specifications.
 Preparation and execution of WPS and PQR as per project requirements.
 Witness of Destructive and Non-Destructive tests for approval of WQT, WPS and PQR.
 Ensure that all inspection & tests are carried out as per approved ITP, Method Statements and
Procedures.
 Co-ordinate with Client QC to prepare Pretest Punch list & posttest punch list.
 Coordinate with FEDC department for any Engineering issues & as built work.
 Coordination with NDE group to carry out PT, RT, UT, MT.
 Highlight all process/product non-conformities through CARs/NCRs and follow up for closing.
 Review & Monitor Calibration frequency & certificates of Instruments used at site.
 Manage & Coordinate Quality Awareness Campaign to create & sustain Quality Culture at Site.
 Conduct Quality & Flawless Startup Initiative Tool Box & Training.
 Maintain day to day filing and quality record according to approved ITP.
 Prepare MDR (Manufacture Data Record) as per approved MDR Index & Finally Submit to Client.
 Witness of PWHT & PMI.
 Fit-up Inspection of welding joints of CS, SS piping.
 Welding Inspection before, during and after welding CS, SS, Duplex piping.
 Monitoring of daily Welding Progress report.
 Daily Fit up& Welding Reports as per Client requirement.
 Coordination for Test package Preparation.
 Inspection of Hydro testing, Flushing &Air Blowing.
 Preparation of Hydro Test Packages. Pneumatic test reports
 Updating of NDT and control sheet for welding record
 Final Inspection of different kinds of structural material and erection.
 Sub- Contractor’s Billing Verification. NDT and all other QA/QC reports

 Inspection of bolt torqueing and tensioning
As NDE Coordinator:
 Radiograph film interpretation and organization of all NDE activities as per Standard requirements.
 Establishment of a system to control the project repair rate and monitoring of welder performance.
 Review of RT, DPT, PWHT and Hardness Reports.
 Identify repair and re-inspect with NDT after re-welding the joints.
 UT Gauging & UT Scanning of pipe & plates weld joint.
 Monitoring day-to-day record of all films.
 Submission of all NDT record to Client as per approved Procedure and requirement.
